18-A

This is Stephen. He is a 20 year old college student at the University of Florida who lives off campus. He likes playing video games in his free time but tries to participate in as much after school activities such as racquet ball and volleyball. He has a white Volkswagen Passat 2017 model with that he cannot drive to school because of the lack of parking. Now that he is done with Freshman year he feels like time is flying by and he is feeling older and older by the second and doesn't know how to stop it. He is already stressing about internships and getting experience for his job after college.


Besides the physical features about this customer I do have the same hobbies such as video games and sports. I also share a common stressor of internships and jobs as well as the annoying hassle of parking on campus. I believe that I have the same issue with this customer because no matter how old or who you are if you have a car and have classes on campus you understand the problem with parking. It did not matter how the avatar looked or whether he had particular hobbies all that mattered was that he owned a car and used it to get to campus. Even if it was for his after school activities the parking decals are still required until 4:30 so if he was not applicable for certain colors of decal then he is forced to park further from his destination.

    I think it's great that you share the same hobbies and traits as your core customer base, because not only are you able to solve problems by putting yourself in their shoes, but you are able to market your product/ service accurately due to the similarities you share. And it is good that you understand how widespread your service is needed as to have the need, you only need to be a college student and drive a car to classes, libraries, organized events, or even just to hang out with friends.
