30-A


After reading through all my post the one that sticks with me the most is the elevator pitch. Not only did I have to do this three times but I remember having some laughs with my roommates when they saw me all dressed up just to go in my room to record myself. I also liked this one the most because I believe that I am a good presenter and I like to practice those types of presentations whether it be about myself or a product.

I don’t believe that I am an entrepreneur but I think that I have created more of a mindset like one. As the semester went on and I had to continue doing assignments on the same topic it made me continue to look deeper in my market or consumer or product which I think is important for an entrepreneur to have. Now that I have done this I think that if I was to create something real I would know somewhat how to go about it and how to accomplish this plan with the mindset that I learned from this class.

I would tell a student that is coming in this class to not think of these assignments as busy work. Take your time and really try and focus on the work because it will help you in the long run. Although there sometimes it might feel redundant and annoying to do the same assignments they are making you think more and making you go more in depth about your product and yourself. Don’t think of these assignments as busy work and go in depth with them rather than brushing the surface in order to get them done on time, put some time and thought into them and it will make your entrepreneur experience that much better.

I chose this picture because its all of the words that are searched when Entrepreneur is searched. It shows what people mostly look up when they look up Entrepreneur and I chose it because most of the words that are big are not some of the words that we spent a lot of time on because those words are words that people who have not taken this class will look up. I chose this picture because it shows me what I know rather than what everyone looks up and what they want to know and I am grateful for the advantage that I now have over everyone else about entrepreneurship.

    Wow, that is a great post! I have to say that I feel exactly the same way in terms of the life advantage this class has provided us for the future. Coming into it, I don't think any one of us thought that we could learn so much in such a short time in terms of thinking outside the box, which is just such a cool "tool" to have in our arsenal. Congratulations on a great semester!

    Hey Alex, I thought the advice you provided about how redundant some of the assignments can be was actually something that I did not really think about, and in hindsight is pretty true, and the mindset you provided about how using these assignments to talk more about your idea and developing it more is a great way of tackling those assignments. The advice you provided overall is very useful for getting the most out of the class, as if people do what you said, then they will not only get a good grade out of the class, but getting experiences that will benefit you for the rest of your life.

1.      I plan to exit the market and sell in the next 5 years. Before I do this though I will need to expand my market a little more rather than just keeping my service on one campus. If I can get my service on most of the University across the united states then I will have a better offer for this business which I will most likely accept. 2.      I selected this strategy so that I do not have to pay attention to the service anymore. I created this service partly because I am in college but once I am out I will not understand what the next need is. 3.      I never thought of my exit strategy until now so I don’t believe that it has influence my other decisions. It has influence my growth intentions because I would like to make a large profit from this service which will only happen if it is produced on more campuses.
